Book Piracy

Dear Reader,

Recently, I learned that tens of thousands of copies of my books have been illegally downloaded. Illegally downloading a book is theft. When you download a book without paying for it, neither the author nor the publisher receives any payment.

I work seven days a week, nearly 365 days a year, to bring the works I've created to you, the reader. Every one of my books is the product of thousands of hours of hard work on the part of myself and my publishers to bring the book to you, the reader. By taking a book without paying for it, you are causing publishers to raise book prices, to cancel books by other authors that otherwise would have been published, and putting future editions of my books and books by other authors in jeopardy.
